Challenge A Fortune 100 organisation required a secure web portal to support cybersecurity initiatives, with strict expectations around security, reliability, and compliance. The solution needed to integrate into an existing enterprise environment and remain maintainable over time. Solution Sigli partnered with Ascendle Technology to align on requirements, constraints, and integration points, then designed and delivered a custom web portal on the Microsoft stack. The platform was built using .NET, Azure, SQL, and Angular, with a focus on secure access, scalable data handling, and long-term maintainability. Sigli supported development, testing, and iterative refinement in close collaboration with the client team. Results The project delivered a stable, secure portal that met enterprise expectations and supported ongoing cybersecurity operations. The platform was successfully integrated into the client’s ecosystem, providing a reliable foundation for security workflows.

Background Catapult Labs works with organisations operating in critical infrastructure environments, where reliability, security, and delivery quality are essential. For one of their key initiatives in the energy sector, they needed to build a custom web platform that met stringent technical and operational standards. Sigli partnered with Catapult Labs to support the successful delivery of this platform and help ensure the project met both technical expectations and delivery timelines. Challenge The project was strategically crucial for Catapult Labs, as it involved delivering a custom platform for a new and significant player in the energy sector. The work needed to be completed to a high standard, within a fixed timeframe, and closely aligned with the client’s internal development processes. The challenge was to contribute effectively within an existing team structure while maintaining quality, consistency, and accountability throughout the delivery process. Solution Sigli contributed to the project by embedding an experienced software developer who worked closely with Catapult Labs’ internal team. The collaboration focused on building and refining key components of the custom web platform, ensuring the solution aligned with both functional requirements and system constraints. Despite working remotely, the Sigli developer integrated seamlessly into the client’s workflow, collaborating on architecture decisions, implementation, and quality assurance to support a unified delivery approach. Results The platform was successfully delivered and played a key role in strengthening Catapult Labs’ position in the energy sector. The project demonstrated the team’s ability to provide reliable, high-quality solutions under demanding conditions. Sigli was recognised for its reliability, responsiveness, and commitment to quality, contributing meaningfully to one of the client’s most important projects at the time.

Background PHIDO is a pet store e-commerce and distribution company serving a network of professional pet retailers. As the business grew and was acquired by a larger distributor, PHIDO needed to extend its existing e-commerce platform to support more complex B2B ordering scenarios. Sigli partnered with PHIDO to help design and implement a backend solution that would support this new operational model without disrupting existing systems. Challenge PHIDO needed a way for pet stores to place customer orders through a dedicated B2B flow. The solution had to integrate with the existing e-commerce platform, support secure access, and remain flexible enough to evolve alongside the business. The main challenge was to extend the platform’s capabilities while keeping the system maintainable and aligned with future growth plans. Solution The engagement started with clarifying the technical and operational requirements for the new ordering flow. Based on this assessment, Sigli designed and implemented a backend ordering application and API that could be securely integrated with PHIDO’s existing frontend. Using Laravel, the team built an API-driven solution that enabled B2B customers to browse products, place orders for end customers, and manage recommendations through a dedicated web application. The work was delivered by a focused team combining backend engineering and project coordination, ensuring clear communication and steady progress throughout the project. Results The solution was delivered on time and aligned with PHIDO’s requirements. The new backend capabilities enabled PHIDO to support B2B ordering efficiently while maintaining stability across its existing platform. Regular communication, agile planning, and close collaboration helped ensure the solution fit both the immediate business need and future expansion plans.

Challenge Sensotec NV, a company specializing in assistive technology for individuals with visual impairments, required additional development support to enhance their systems. This included tasks ranging from speech recognition to AI solutions, transforming a speech server into a high-speed text-to-audio converter, and addressing PHP project needs from their sister company. They needed a reliable partner to integrate seamlessly into their team and deliver high-quality, functional software solutions. Solution Sigli was integrated into Sensotec’s team, attending all developer meetings and tackling various tasks. Starting with one developer as a test case, who successfully saved a critical project, Sensotec expanded their collaboration to include four main and four short-term developers, along with two project managers, totaling 10 members. Sigli's developers provided design feedback, developed new systems, and created features, effectively transforming the speech server and addressing PHP needs. They maintained constant communication, making them feel like part of Sensotec’s team, and managed minor project management tasks while tracking all tickets. Results Sigli's involvement significantly reduced system bugs and enabled rapid issue resolution based on customer feedback, leading to no major bugs in two years. Despite occasional server hiccups due to hasty deployments, Sigli’s professionalism and technical skills shone through. They quickly identified potential problems and integrated seamlessly with Sensotec’s team. Their ability to adapt swiftly to shifting deadlines and provide developers on short notice, such as a PHP developer within four days, was highly impressive. Sigli’s outstanding language and development skills made them the ideal team reinforcement, leading to a continued successful partnership that began in December 2018 and persists today.
