About the Client A creative game studio dedicated to building entertaining and accessible mobile games. With a strong focus on delivering unique gameplay experiences, they were exploring ways to enhance both player engagement and business sustainability. The Challenge For their newest project, a fast-paced, tower defense game. The client needed to establish a monetization framework and fix the core loop. The game launched without any revenue model in place, meaning there were no in-app purchases or ads to generate income. The challenge was to design and implement monetization features that could convert player activity into revenue while keeping the overall experience fun and uninterrupted. Our Approach Ropstam Game Studio partnered with them to create a monetization system from the ground up. -Rewarded Ads Integration -In-App Purchases -Game Economy Design -Royal Pass and Bundle Offers By prioritizing player enjoyment, the monetization elements were experienced as enhancements rather than interruptions. Creating Player-Friendly Monetization We designed a system that integrated visual effects, sound, character animations, and environments to make progression feel rewarding. By aligning monetization with natural player milestones, we created revenue opportunities that enhanced achievement and supported long-term retention. Results The monetization framework built by RGS gave a direct revenue stream. Rewarded ads increased engagement, while the UI, VFX, and SFX improvements significantly boosted player progression. The balanced economy supported repeat play and consistent revenue growth. Key outcomes included: -17 % increase in average revenue per active user. -5% conversion rate of non-paying players into paying users. -9% longer play sessions as players engaged with monetization features. -32 % improvement in game progression.

About the client An aviation enthusiast wanted to bring his vision of a realistic Microsoft Flight Simulator scenery to life. Flight simulation was a personal passion project he took on, but facing technical hurdles and a tight personal deadline, he turned to Ropstam Game Studio to achieve his goal. Challenge The client required a realistic 3D map for integration within Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), to be delivered within a short timeline. The challenge was to design, build, and implement a high-quality 3D model through the SDK, all while meeting a strict delivery deadline.. Our Approach Ropstam Game Studio partnered with the client to deliver a custom 3D model tailored to MSFS through: -Development of high-fidelity 3D model maps -SDK Integration with Microsoft Flight Simulator -Environment Optimization for Realism and Performance -Quality Testing Under Training Conditions Creating A Realistic 3D Environment The 3D environment was meticulously modeled to replicate real-world locations, featuring detailed textures and optimized assets. This accuracy enhanced both training outcomes and overall user satisfaction. Results The client received a high-quality, fully optimized scenery model ready for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), along with a dedicated website within the set deadline. Key outcomes included: -Delivery within the client’s set deadline. -Realistic 3D scenery optimized for MSFS performance. -Enhanced visual fidelity with smooth user experience. -A professional website to highlight the project.
About the Client The client was passionate about immersive VR experiences, wanting to create an experimental VR game mechanic centered around freeform cube manipulation, where players could snap, detach, and rearrange cubes with ease. The Challenge The goal was to have magnet-like cubes that could connect and disconnect freely. We had to: -Handle smooth cube-to-cube interactions. -Simulate a “magnetic” feel for attaching and detaching. -Manage interactions of cube groups as they formed new shapes. -Ensure groups can connect, separate, and update consistently. -Deliver seamless performance without glitches across all interactions. Our Approach Ropstam Game Studio brought expertise in VR, physics systems, and custom algorithms to design the solution. -Physics-Based Cube Interactions -Magnet Simulation -Group Interaction Algorithm -Tagging System -Free Manipulation -Creating Seamless Cube Dynamics By blending physics with smart algorithms, we delivered smooth and intuitive mechanics. The magnetic snapping, group behavior, and freeform manipulation gave players full creative control with optimized performance. Results The final build successfully showcased a unique VR interaction system that combined technical depth with playful simplicity. Key outcomes: -Stable, natural-feeling magnetic cube interactions. -Efficient group management through tagging and data-driven updates. -Smooth attaching/detaching. -Fully optimized VR performance for fluid gameplay.
