Nesa Software, the dedicated software division and sister company of Sinro Robotics, developed an intelligent passenger counting and transport monitoring system for Kochi Water Metro. While Sinro Robotics focuses on integrated hardware and robotics solutions, Nesa Software exclusively handled the software architecture, analytics platform, monitoring system, and real-time data processing components of the project. The solution was designed to regulate commuter ridership and maintain passenger limits according to vessel capacity. The system identifies approaching vessels equipped with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) tags, while smart readers installed across terminal locations detect and transmit real-time data to a centralized platform. The software platform enables live passenger monitoring, automated data collection, operational analytics, and real-time reporting for transport authorities. By replacing manual monitoring methods with an intelligent automated system, the project improved operational efficiency, passenger safety, and decision-making capabilities across the public transport network.
