Microknot partnered with Anglicare, one of Australia’s leading not-for-profit Christian support organisations, to deliver a secure and efficient On-Site COVID-19 RAT Testing and Visitor Management Application. With over 1,300 locations across NSW and thousands of daily visitors, Anglicare required a robust digital solution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents in aged-care and retirement living communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The platform was designed to streamline visitor entry by allowing non-residents to complete a health declaration and submit Rapid Antigen Test results prior to arriving onsite. Featuring mobile QR code check-in, RAT test result uploads, image verification and automated alerts, the system enabled Anglicare staff to manage approvals in real-time through a secure web-based admin portal. The workflow included multi-level approvals, hierarchy-based permissions, SMS and email notifications, and cloud-hosted infrastructure to support high-volume usage, with 2,000+ active users per day. This solution played a vital role in safeguarding vulnerable residents by ensuring only verified and approved visitors gained access. Delivered with scalability, security and user-experience in mind, the system allowed Anglicare to continue providing essential community care while maintaining strict health protocols across multiple facilities.
