Hero MotoCorp partnered with BigOh to build a digital commerce platform that would enable workshops and repair centers to order spare parts online with rapid delivery capabilities. The objective was to create a scalable website and application, supported by a network of dark stores, while delivering the entire solution in less than 28 days. Before the project, workshops relied on traditional offline procurement methods and had no dedicated platform for ordering spare parts online. There was no solution offering fast delivery of spare parts, creating inefficiencies for repair businesses. Hero also needed a digital KYC process to verify workshop owners before allowing purchases and required a distributed dark-store model to support deliveries within 30 to 40 minutes. BigOh developed a website and Progressive Web App (PWA) using Shopify and LiquidJS, enabling workshop owners to browse and order spare parts seamlessly. The platform was launched within 28 days and included essential e-commerce capabilities such as live order tracking, inventory management, refunds, and order processing. To support rapid fulfillment, six dark stores were established across the city. We also developed a custom KYC workflow to verify workshops before granting access to the platform. More than 800 SKUs across 28 OEMs and 40 motorcycle models were onboarded. Additionally, analytics capabilities were integrated to help the marketing team track customer behavior, identify popular searches, and run targeted campaigns. The platform enabled Hero MotoCorp to digitize spare parts procurement and launch operations within an aggressive timeline. The solution successfully supported nationwide spare parts distribution and was later scaled across eight cities using the same technology foundation, helping improve accessibility, fulfillment speed, and operational efficiency.

BigOh partnered with Square Yards to enhance the Square Connect app with a social feed that improved property discovery and engagement. Posts were ranked using a weighted score based on likes, comments, views, shares, and location relevance. Theta decay was implemented to gradually reduce the visibility of older posts unless they continued generating strong engagement. The platform lacked personalized recommendations, meaningful buyer-broker interactions, discussion forums, smart discovery features, social sharing, and mechanisms for following trusted brokers or identifying trending content. Remote buyers also found it difficult to understand local property sentiment and activity. To solve these challenges, we built a recommendation engine that surfaced relevant content based on user behavior and preferences. A real-time ranking system highlighted trending properties using engagement and recency signals. We introduced social features including likes, comments, follows, discussion threads, and content sharing. Brokers could post images, walkthroughs, and updates, to create a more engaging experience. Gamification elements such as badges and follower counts encouraged participation, while hyperlocal content helped remote buyers make informed decisions. The solution delivered a 40–55% increase in lead generation, enabled users to discover relevant properties 3x–5x faster, and improved broker visibility and engagement by 65%. It also increased inquiries, site visits, user retention, and overall platform engagement.
Indian Gas Exchange Ltd. (IGX), India's first automated national gas exchange, partnered with BigOh to modernize its digital infrastructure through a complete website revamp and the development of a custom Trading Work Station (TWS). The objective was to build a scalable in-house trading platform capable of supporting Spot and Auction-based trading while meeting regulatory requirements set by PNGRB. Prior to the transformation, IGX relied on a third-party exchange platform operating on the FIX protocol and aligned to EST time zones, creating operational inefficiencies and limiting flexibility. The existing system lacked support for third-party integrations, real-time market updates, and platform-level customizations required to support evolving business and regulatory needs. BigOh developed a proprietary exchange engine tailored to IGX's trading workflows, enabling full ownership and control of the trading infrastructure. The new platform supported seamless trade management, real-time order and market updates, faster issue resolution, and direct integration with external partners for post-trade automation. With a dedicated India-based support team, IGX gained the ability to implement customizations, regulatory updates, and market-time requests quickly and efficiently. The platform successfully migrated existing data with zero downtime and seamlessly handled daily trading volumes of up to 1.6 lakh MMBTU. The solution improved operational flexibility, enabled all trader-requested customizations, enhanced reliability, and provided a strong foundation for future growth.

The new architecture provided the flexibility to scale efficiently, support future growth, and accelerate the rollout of new features while maintaining high performance and reliability.
Ferns N Petals (FnP), one of India's leading gifting and e-commerce brands, wanted to upgrade its back-office portals before the festive season. The main challenge was connecting the promotion engine microservices to the back-office system so that teams could easily create, manage, and edit coupon codes. FnP also wanted to open the door to partnerships with external redemption providers, so customers could use offers across multiple platforms. BigOhTech built a flexible coupon management solution with coupon generation and full CRUD functionality, and integrated the promotion engine into the back-office platform. This also laid the groundwork for third-party partnerships with payment providers and banking partners. Even with a tight deadline, our team delivered the front-end and back-end modules in under two months, maintaining 98%+ unit test and code coverage and zero linting warnings or errors. The portal went live ahead of the festive season and made large-scale coupon management simple and efficient. It boosted customer engagement, strengthened partner integrations, and helped drive a 2x increase in revenue in a single high-demand season. The project also deepened FnP's collaboration with banking and redemption partners, adding value for both customers and the business.
Jio Money teamed up with BigOh to build a secure mobile payment solution that lets businesses use their smartphones as point-of-sale (POS) devices. The aim was to deliver a smooth, easy-to-use payment experience while meeting strict industry compliance and security standards. With digital payments growing fast, businesses needed a simple way to accept payments without investing in traditional POS hardware. At the same time, concerns around transaction security, data protection, and regulatory compliance made the task challenging. The solution had to keep transactions quick and effortless for merchants and customers, without compromising on payment security. BigOh developed the Jio Money Merchant App, giving merchants a secure gateway for digital payments through an intuitive interface. To keep the experience consistent across devices, we built a server-side capability detection mechanism that automatically adjusts content delivery to each customer's handset. We also created a secure transaction processing layer that decrypts payment data and re-encrypts it to payment processor standards, ensuring protected data transmission and PCI DSS compliance. The app supports EMV chip card payments as well as mobile-based transactions, giving users multiple ways to pay. The platform allowed businesses to accept secure payments directly on their smartphones, cutting friction and making payments more accessible. Merchants gained new revenue opportunities, while customers enjoyed a faster, more convenient checkout. Stronger security, EMV card support, and a seamless mobile payment flow helped build greater customer trust and satisfaction.

Careem, one of the Middle East's leading ride-hailing platforms, worked with BigOh to grow its ride-booking ecosystem and capture more bookings from Dubai's thriving tourism sector. The goal was to give hotel guests a seamless way to book rides while opening up a new B2B revenue channel through partnerships with hotels and hospitality businesses. Careem's existing model centered on direct consumer bookings, which made it hard to tap into the influence hotels and their staff have over guest decisions. Tourists often struggled to book rides because of limited internet access or unfamiliarity with local transport, so they depended on hotel front desks. Many hotels, in turn, steered guests toward competing transport providers, which reduced Careem's visibility and potential bookings. To solve this, BigOh built a hotel-based booking solution that let guests and hotel staff book rides through tablets placed at front desks and lobbies. The platform integrated smoothly with Careem's existing rider and driver apps and introduced a property-based rewards system that credited hotels for every completed booking. Cashback incentives and affiliate commissions motivated hotel staff and partners to actively promote the service, creating a scalable, referral-driven ecosystem. The solution made ride booking easier for travelers, improved driver-passenger coordination, and turned hotel staff into active advocates for Careem. With a new affiliate revenue channel and stronger hotel partnerships, Careem expanded its reach in the tourism industry and saw higher booking volumes and deeper partner engagement.
nULTA partnered with BigOh to build a comprehensive digital healthcare platform that connects patients with doctors, counselors, and veterinarians through video consultations, audio calls, chat, and messaging. The aim was to make healthcare easier to access, while letting patients manage appointments, medical records, and health information from one place. The client needed a secure, scalable solution where patients could instantly reach medical experts, check available time slots, book appointments, and pay online. They also wanted patients to store and track their medical history and reports digitally, with strong privacy protection and compliance with healthcare regulations. BigOh developed two dedicated applications, one for patients and one for healthcare providers. The platform includes appointment scheduling, real-time communication, calendar sync, and digital health record management, with secure payments through Stripe. An escrow-based payment system makes sure providers are paid promptly after consultations. The entire solution is HIPAA-compliant, and extra features such as health education resources, wellness programs, secure messaging, and anonymous patient-doctor communication help protect user privacy. The platform saw strong adoption, with 200,000+ doctors and 500,000+ patients registered. Verified providers, digital medical records, secure consultations, and trusted reviews built a dependable healthcare ecosystem, making care more accessible and convenient for both patients and medical professionals.
General Electric (GE) worked with BigOh to modernize a business-critical desktop application that its sales teams use to showcase and demonstrate industrial products. The application was built on Adobe Flex, a deprecated technology that no longer worked with modern browsers and operating systems, which created both operational and business challenges. As Adobe Flex support faded, the application became harder to run and maintain. Sales teams struggled to demonstrate products to prospects, leading to lost opportunities and lower productivity. Limited documentation and poor knowledge transfer made things worse, leaving many modules, assets, and workflows poorly understood. The result was higher maintenance costs, operational inefficiencies, and growing concerns about long-term business continuity. BigOh started by decompiling the Adobe Flex codebase to understand how the application worked. We then rebuilt it using React and Electron as a modern Progressive Web Application (PWA) that runs in browsers and also installs as a desktop app. Custom animations and interactive product experiences were created with React and Canvas, preserving the original user experience while improving performance and maintainability. The modernized platform let GE's sales teams run product demonstrations more efficiently on modern devices and environments. Demo preparation and execution time dropped by nearly 70%, making teams more productive and responsive. The success of this project also gave GE a foundation to modernize 30+ additional legacy applications, supporting its wider digital transformation efforts.
CarWale worked with BigOh to speed up product development and strengthen its engineering capabilities through strategic staff augmentation. The company already had strong business and functional teams, but it struggled to scale its technical workforce fast enough to keep up with an expanding product roadmap and ambitious delivery timelines. CarWale was getting ready to launch new initiatives to improve the buyer and seller experience, but filling critical engineering roles through traditional hiring was proving difficult. High candidate no-show rates and offer drop-offs slowed recruitment and put project timelines and time-to-market goals at risk. What CarWale needed was experienced professionals who could join quickly and start contributing right away. BigOh provided a dedicated team of qualified technology professionals matched to CarWale's needs. A structured evaluation process, including technical discussions and interviews with CarWale stakeholders, ensured the right fit. What started as a one-month trial grew into a partnership of over 18 months because of how well the collaboration worked. BigOh deployed 28 professionals, including iOS developers, technical leads, and engineering managers, allowing CarWale to expand its development capacity rapidly. The engagement brought clear operational and business gains. CarWale achieved 2x savings in hiring, training, and onboarding costs and sped up product delivery, with the first product iteration launched within two months. With technical leadership from BigOh, CarWale could focus on its core business priorities while development moved ahead smoothly.
Emtel wanted to build a single digital platform for its telecom services across the consumer, enterprise, and home segments. At the time, it had no consumer-facing app or in-house billing solution, as billing was routed through Ericsson. Customers had no real-time visibility into their usage, which led to dissatisfaction and made it hard for Emtel to understand usage patterns or drive cross-selling and upselling. BigOhTech began by assessing Emtel's existing architecture and developing REST APIs to connect its systems with Ericsson's backend. We built a Laravel-based middleware that smoothly converts data between SOAP and JSON formats. We also delivered native Android and iOS apps, a custom CMS for usage, retention, and marketing, and an in-app wallet with a self-care portal. Features like a store locator and on-the-fly offer management made the customer experience even better. The platform drove significant sales growth and improved customer satisfaction and retention. Real-time usage visibility and dynamic offers helped raise ARPU, while accurate billing and consumption details reduced customer-care calls and operational costs. With flexible plans and expanded digital features also supporting higher customer acquisition, Emtel now has a scalable platform to deliver and manage its telecom services.
Indian Energy Exchange (IEX), India's leading power exchange, worked with BigOh to build a scalable energy trading platform that supports multiple electricity trading products while meeting strict regulatory requirements. The platform had to comply with CERC guidelines and support RTM, Intraday, Forward, and Reverse Auctions. It also needed to streamline user onboarding, automate trade execution, and handle high transaction volumes. BigOh developed a unified web platform with e-KYC onboarding, bringing registration time down to under an hour. All trading products were brought together in a single interface, the entire trading lifecycle was automated, and real-time analytics gave traders clear, actionable market insights. In its first year, the platform onboarded 1,000+ traders and processed over one million transactions. It met all regulatory standards, passed independent audits, and gave IEX a reliable foundation for large-scale energy trading.
