The client is a nationwide healthcare insurance company with an extensive suite of mobile and web apps. They wanted to work with us on creating a brand new, focused experience that really rewarded members for adhering to their prescriptions and taking a more active lifestyle.By enticing members to complete their prescriptions and be more active the goal was to lower their overall claims costs. Members would earn real money every time they achieved one of their daily goals with the ability to cash out to a gift card redeemable anywhere the user desires. As with all new initiatives, we had to be flexible to changes in direction and constantly creative. While some of the scope, rewards and features changed we remained steadfast in our commitment to an easy to use, enjoyable user experience. Prototypes were used throughout the process to ensure both the client and testers could rapidly review the latest user flows and concepts. The end result was a simple onboarding experience, followed by easy to follow weekly goals, set up by the user. Members could track medication and get support when they slip on their adherence. Along with step tracking and booking annual wellness visits, which also reward members. In each case users are given step by step guidance on how to work towards their goals. Our process with development went smoothly with detailed design QA, incredible developer ownership and a truly collaborative atmosphere.

The goal for this project was to redesign our client’s existing website, which featured a chatbot, to make it smarter, more modern, and user-friendly. They sought to upgrade the website chatbot capabilities using artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the user experience, provide more personalized assistance, and streamline user interactions. These core chatbot capabilities were essential to the success of the project Our collaboration began with an immersive on-site engagement, where we delved deep into understanding our client’s precise needs and aspirations.Drawing upon the invaluable knowledge realized during the discovery process, the Ascendum team crafted a design that not only met but exceeded our client's expectations. With a focus on creativity and innovation, we transformed their vision into reality, delivering a design that was both refined and aligned with all stakeholder goals. As a result, we delivered a thoroughly reimagined website, designed with the user in mind and tailored to meet the specific needs of our client and their stakeholders. The redesign was segmented, consistent, and fully branded, enhancing its overall cohesion and reinforcing our client's brand identity across every interaction.

ABP, a global consultancy specialising in business process management and AI-powered automation, approached us for support with a client. The task involved enhancing the user experience of the client’s existing document search solution, currently integrated into an Excel sheet. Our client aimed for a user-friendly, intuitive platform design to streamline document search for their employees. The project requirements included a desktop version, along with the creation of wireframes and a Figma prototype for the proposed solution. We initiated the project by meeting with the client to find out the needs and challenges of the proposal. Over a couple of initial meetings, we took notes and brainstormed ideas using Figjam, which made collaboration fun and frictionless. We analysed the client needs, researched the current market, worked on wireframes, visual design and prototype. We packaged up a flow of the proposed design solution within 2 weeks. The final deliverable included sketches, wireframes, visual design and a Figma prototype.

Radius introduced groundbreaking location-based marketing technology, revolutionizing B&M (brick-and-mortar) retail media. Imagine a Pokémon GO™-like experience for shoppers, guiding them to discover promotions as they shop, navigate to new products, and even clip in-store coupons. The product initially required a new logo. However, it needed to resonate with another app in the same family, utilizing similar color tones and fonts as part of its own brand suite to retain user recognition. The challenge was to design a pictorial mark that is approachable, describes the product clearly, and can be easily applied to digital, print, and motion mediums in a more engaging manner than simply using a logo. The key objective was to craft a logo that seamlessly conveyed both the concept of location and reward within a single graphic—a powerful design technique known for sparking innovative ideas. Our approach began with the creation of bespoke map pins, arranged in sets of four to symbolize multiple rewards within a single radius or location. Through this arrangement, we inadvertently formed a beautiful butterfly symbol, representing rewards that are constantly in motion and surrounding the user. This concept of 'catching butterfly rewards' not only lends itself well to app gamification but also presents an excellent opportunity for sponsorship branding.

Our client is a multinational brand and a leader in the sports casual market. They have thousands of stores globally and are partners with the largest brands in product and distribution. Their internal innovation team wanted to launch a private label that could cater to the needs of millennials. The idea was to create a limited-edition supply of niche products that matched market research and hype cycles. The traditional product development cycle took at least 18 months to bring a new line of footwear to market. The idea behind the new initiative was to drastically reduce the time needed for new product development. The client also wanted to use the new label as an “ideas factory”to test new trends, new products and develop data models for large-scale inventory and purchase decisions.
